This one of a kind training putter was designed by CEO John Holland of CenterPutt and has given me exclusive access to sell and promote this high quality product.  The head was milled and finished in the USA of 303 Stainless Steel (like the Scotty Cameron). The shaft is a True Temper double bend steel, and the grip options are Taci Mac Junior and Winn Excel AVS Standard, Midsize, or Jumbo.  Mr. Holland had these training putters in the hands of PGA Pros and had great reviews.  (Patent Pending).

DETAILS:

The CenterPutt HC5 is a golf putting aid used to practice putting. The putting aid is made from 303 stainless steel and looks like a conventional golf putter in all aspects with the exception of the face of the putter head where contact is made with the golf ball. The putter face has a 5 millimeter wide vertical strip in the center of the face, from the bottom of the surface or putter sole to the top of the face. From this strip, the surface tapers back to the face on each side.

The CenterPutt HC5 is designed to help golfers practice hitting the center of the "sweet spot" of the putter face, which is the 5 mm wide strip. If not, and contact is made to the ball on either side of this strip, the ball is deflected off-line (right or left) of the target line (hole). Therefore, this practice aid putter provides direct feedback pertaining to the quality of the putting stroke and the golfer's ability to make contact directly on the sweet spot. The CenterPutt putting aid helps golfers groove a path and create muscle memory by practicing hitting the sweet spot of the putter. Since the sweet spot is only 5mm wide, it takes a certain level of skill to consistently hit the narrow strip on the face of the putter.

There have been other add-on putting aids or separate devices manufactured to help golfers hit the sweet spot, but there are not any putting aids similar to the CenterPutt HC5 which encompasses the entire putter in one single piece club. The CenterPutt HC5 invention is essentially a typical one piece putter with a slightly modified face. Since it is difficult to consistently make contact with the sweet spot of the HC5, the putter is to be used solely as a practice tool and not a club to be used while actually playing golf.
